Discipleship is not a concept; it is a life. These are the stories that prove it.

I have learned so much about myself and about how God has been with me throughout this journey. I didn't expect this pathway to impact me as deeply as it has, especially in helping me identify and work through areas of my life that needed growth and healing.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that this journey cannot be done alone; God needs to be at the centre of it all. Through the process, I have experienced a deeper awareness of His presence, guidance, and grace.
Pastor Mike has both challenged and encouraged us, providing practical, godly wisdom and tools to help overcome life's challenges while growing in faith. His teaching has helped me look at my walk with God in a more intentional and meaningful way.
I would encourage anyone who is seeking a deeper, more authentic relationship with God to become discipled. This journey has strengthened my faith, given me a greater understanding of myself, and helped me grow closer to God. While my story is still unfolding, I am grateful for everything God has been teaching me along the way.

Become Disciples has been a significant augment to my Christian walk, practically and theologically.
I realised, while already following Jesus, I had so much more growing to do; however, this realisation was not discouraging, it was exciting, fresh and grounded securely in biblical theology (which is important to me)! With a focus on holistic formation, and encouragement to make life-long changes in mindset.
Become Disciples’ objective is centrally the formation of Christlike character, one’s whole person pursues Christ. With specific and concise questions and instructions.
Become Disciples challenged me to be honest with body, mind and spirit. I have so enjoyed the edification, correction and exhortation of the process.

It has been a privilege to be part of the inaugural Become Disciples cohort. I have been encouraged to participate in these sessions alongside people who care deeply about our personal and corporate impact regarding discipleship in our community.
The content is like nothing I've consumed before. Each sentence spoken by Ps Mike is noteworthy and challenging.
The theological lessons taken from every angle carry a depth of revelation that shows careful and faithful preparation by Ps Mike.
There is no doubt in my mind that this content could reshape, reposition and empower our church to be a discipleship juggernaut. This is my prayer.

I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Become Disciples Pathway. It has helped me grow closer to God and given me a fresh perspective on what it means to be a disciple of Christ.
One area that I have always struggled with is sharing my faith with others. I’ve always admired people who can naturally start conversations about Jesus with complete strangers. For me, it doesn't come naturally. I often worry about not having the right answers, saying the wrong thing, or not being a good enough Christian to help lead someone to Jesus.
Through this pathway, God has been changing the way I see discipleship. He’s shown me that it’s not just about my own walk with Him. It’s also about loving people, walking alongside them, and helping them get to know Jesus. I learned that sharing my faith can be as simple as sharing my story and trusting God with the outcome. I don’t have to have everything figured out, and God is not asking me to be perfect. He is asking me to be available and obedient.
This pathway has reminded me that discipleship is a lifelong journey and that I need God every step of the way. I am still learning, still growing, and still being stretched by God. There are still times when I feel inadequate or afraid, but I'm learning to trust God more than my fears.
I thank God for putting me on a path where I am being discipled because it has made a real difference in my life. My prayer is that as I continue to follow Jesus, He will use me to help others follow Him, too.
