Through honest dialogue and shared experiences, Mike & Christelle explore Biblical family values in a way that is practical, relatable, and grounded in everydayI am a Pastor, Songwriter, Singer, and a Worship Leader.

You might know me from my work with The Sowers Group; Since 1995, we have been committed to writing Gospel songs that those who don’t go to Church could enjoy listening to.

I am originally from Bukavu, The Democratic Republic Of Congo. My father was a pastor in the Church I had attended since childhood. Unfortunately, he passed away when I was only two months old.

I have had the great opportunity to work with great artists like Kosto Zahinda, Oswald Basoka, Aron Tunga, Andy and Kathy Sorenson, Felis Mwambalo, Upendo Wisdom, Beatrice Muhone and more importantly, my wife Christelle Matumaini.

With The Sowers Group, we released two albums, “70X7” in 2002 and “Cheza” in 2008. We also released a series of singles over the years.

I am blessed with my “miss universe” wife, Christelle and our three beautiful children. Since 2016, we’ve been serving as Gunnedah Location Pastors for the Chapel Collective, NSW, Australia. I also serve as the Executive Pastor of the Chapel Collective and graduated with a master of leadership at Alphacrusis University College.life.

Laughter is part of the journey.

Faith and family can be serious, but joy, humour, and genuine connection are woven into every conversation.
